  • Camp Heartwood MysteryOriginated unique, land-based, spirit-focused experiences for children, teens and neurodivergent populations on 100 acres of precambrian wilderness. Created and facilitated imaginative play-based outdoor experiences linked to story, creative thinking, games, and mythology. Dynamic, heart-centred programming to inspire connection with the True Self, with others, and with the living sentient land.Sample Lesson: Finding the Story WithinThis land-based, story-inspired experience invited participants to reach for the gifts within their hearts and minds and to conceive of and connect to a greater wholeness that links all of life. Cross-curricular activities for this lesson included fire-building, drama, language arts, physical education, nature immersion, outdoor cooking and cooperative initiatives. Around a fire the students had made, with food cooking in the coals, the story was told and dramatized. Participants then created responses to the heart-centred questions in the story.Story used in the curriculum: The Owl Mage Listens to You
